Bergstrom, Gosnell accept scholarship from HSSA ~ For the 3rd year, the Highland Support Staff Association (HSSA) awarded $250 scholarships to a male and female student who had applied for and been accepted to the Medina County Career Center for their junior 2014-15 academic school year. Congratulations to this years recipients, soon-to-be Highland juniors Illana Bergstrom and Gregory Gosnell. Illana, who plans to study Diversified Medical Technologies, is the daughter of Tammi and Thomas Bergstrom of Hinckley. Gregory, who plans to study Computer Science and Forensics, is the son of Lisa and Andrew Gosnell of Hinckley. Students are selected based on criteria such as attendance, citizenship, grade point average of 2.5 or above and must be a resident of the District. The awards are presented each May.
