Bernard Parker, Knowledge Musona, Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Morgan Gould will have to be extremely careful in tomorrow night’s PSL clash with Platinum Stars. All four players currently find themselves sitting on three yellow cards each, just one card away from facing a one-match suspension. In this case, a one-match suspension would mean them missing Saturday’s Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates, a game that is always billed as the biggest of the season. Musona, ‘Yeye’ and Gould all picked up a booking against Black Leopards in the narrow 1-0 win last month, while Parker has been sitting on three yellow cards for a while now. Stuart Baxter will no doubt have told the quartet to be cautious in their tackles going into the game tomorrow night, as he will be keen to have them available when the Amakhosi take on the Buccaneers on Saturday. The Glamour Boys travel to Rustenburg today ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Dikwena, though captain, Itumeleng Khune, remains sidelined with an ankle injury that looks set to keep him out for a number of weeks.
