Bernardita Reyes Churchchill ,Ph.D. president National Historical Society, Inc. (Founded 1941) served as Moderator in the Reading and Interpretation of the Poem written by Gat. Andres Bonifacio in Asia Pacific University , Mandaluyong City, Philippines. The poem entitled Pag-ibig sa Tinubuang Lupa. The free verse poem reading produces a contention of whether a Tagalog is true representation of the entire Philippines for which Bonifacio mention in the 26th verse. The participants of the three days conference are historians and history teachers coming from different schools nationwide.The doctor of education Mrs. Bernardita Reyes churchchill suggested to the participants that in interpreting, transmitting , teaching history its therefore proper to contextualize lessons, attributes colonization as part of Philippine History thereby its fitting to use what is good that hat it has in parted with us, and take not into practice what is not good. She further encourages each participants to take up Spanish Lesson and take part to do research and visits National Archives on what they the participants think needs to clarify in the Philippine history. Because as history practitioners it is a personal mandate that each must contribute in the continued historical enlightenment the Philippines should have. Being part of the 150th Conference of the Bonifacio Centenary celebration she had haunted by the challenge of the coalition force for between the pro Magdiwang of Bonifacio vs of pro Rizalian experts or Magdalo of Emilio Aguinaldo experts vs. of pro Bonifacio camps. However what is best to do for the moment is to give due to what is accorded to each of these revered hero. For the mean time that we are celebrating the day of Andres Bonifacio, lets us herald the person to what he has done for the best of the country , the final words of Miss Bernardita Reyes Churchchill.
