Berried in wild deliciousness. Wild blackberries are an invasive - TopicsExpress

Berried in wild deliciousness. Wild blackberries are an invasive species in our neck of the woods, but we keep a patch along our drive at the farm for eating fresh. Our goats LOVE working the vines down by the forest, one of their favorite treats! Purple-stained hands are common, as folks fill baskets alongside our back roads of western Sonoma County. Fresh-frozen berries are a delightful taste of summer when winter sets in, and blackberry cobbler is always a welcome dessert. Yeah, we make jam too, and love adding fresh, wild berries to our yogurt! Just dont call it goat berry yogurt.... ~db
