Besides being a mom, a wife, and a working woman I am also a horse owner. My new role reminds me a little of marriage; in sickness and in health (forget richer or poorer because now that I own Heidi Im way poorer!). My Badger has been very sick for 8 days. Tonight I stood in the pouring rain and fed my sweet girl grain. My car is inundated with horse gear, including a mouse trap on the passenger floor board for the newest occupant, thanks to life at the stable. Many of you may not know my long term goal for H, which is to turn her into a therapy horse in retirement (both of us, me as a trainer). She will help angels like my sweet T who have autism, she will give them peace, confidence and comfort. And hopefully, a cure. I will recover my boy from this. Im home now feeding my wonderful family and feeling blessed to have all I have
