Besides the time I called a Mormon church and said that I really, really, needed them to come by my house regularly to evangelize me and then gave them my friends address acting like it was my own, the practical joke someone played on me recently is brilliant. They simply subscribed my email address to The Elijah List. Well played. If I ever find out who you are, rest assured I will exact my revenge in some way that repeats itself 27 times a day, not unlike what you have bestowed upon me.
