Best 2009 Movies in HD Movies are a phenomenon that hit our culture many years ago. Now days, movies humble people, they move people and they teach people. Films have an incredible effect on an audience as they sit before the big screen hoping to be wowed. People came up with a list of the best movies that were created in 2009, noting that these creations were unique in one way or another. To some, movies are simply something they can watch on HD TV from the comfort of their own home. To others, movies open an outlet into another world. When looking at the list of the best movies of 2009, you know that everyone who created this list did not agree. Of course there are going to be varying opinions on which films succeeded and which did not. The genres span over every category, making it hard to compare a slapstick to a romance. Topping the list at number ten is the movie, The Hangover. Many people thought this was the funniest movie of its kind to come out in a long while. It consists of hysterical scene after hysterical scene, hardy letting the audience recover from the last before it hits them with the next. The cast is great, with Bradley Cooper acting as the main male part. Then we see Zach Galifianakis break out in high definition with his oddly comedic spurts. To many though, the truly genius part was the cameo made by Mike Tyson himself. Remember him? Changing gears quite a bit to a more series genre of film we can look at the movie Precious, thought to be the best of its class. The title of this movie is quit misleading, as the film documents the harsh life of an African American girl growing up in a broken home. Precious, the name of the main character, faces struggles that most do not encounter in an entire lifetime. Her mother would rather watch her satellite TV than give her own daughter the time of day. This movie was an amazing opportunity for actress MoNique to step into the spot light and demonstrate her versatility as an actor. Again diving into another world, literally and figuratively, we look at a sci-fi film people called a gem. Star Trek was bold and came out with a movie that surprised people across the board. Most thought this movie would be a flop, as are many remakes and sequels of hit television shows from the past. But J.J. Abrams was able to reinvent this into something a broad audience could enjoy. The key to this accomplishment was making the movie understandable to those who were not into the original Star Trek phase. Males and females of all ages were captivated by this movie. It had action, it had a love story, and it all made sense. Along the same lines, Avatar hit the world with a giant impact. Director James Cameron created an idea years back and had the patience, the power and the tools to bring it to life years later. Talk about action. The special effects in this movie are off the charts. You couldnt even get this kind of action watching sports live, center court. Cameron thought big and hit big. All of these movies have one thing in common—people loved them. Best Choice TV delivers the best movies of 2009.
