Best Buy: Shame on you for your disgusting, shameful, greedy, heartless decision to take your employees away from their families on Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving DINNER is a tradition many families share, and because of corporate greed, many of your most valuable assets, YOUR EMPLOYEES, will have their holiday adversely affected all because you want to put a few extra dollars in the pockets of your shareholders. How about putting a little confidence behind the products and services you sell and letting those offerings speak for themselves during the holiday shopping season? Your decision to open on Thanksgiving Day will forever be etched in my mind as the one thing that proved Best Buy has no care for the quality of life of their employees. It isnt enough that we get paid peanuts for the work we do (especially in Geek Squad, where technical skills amount to a pile of dog shit on the pay check), but now you have to prioritize profit above your employees by effectively eliminating Thanksgiving dinner from many of our schedules? Dont worry about me getting the message this holiday season; I hear it loud and clear. So long as I am working to earn a barely livable wage while depositing thousands of dollars in your pockets, you are happy to keep me on the payroll as a person who just rolls with the punches and complies with your every greedy whim all because my family needs a roof over their heads and food on the table. Just be thankful the walk-outs plaguing Wal-Mart and Target havent picked up steam with your employees (yet).
