Best Selling Author Tim Dorsey to discuss latest offering Riptide Ultra-Glide at North Tampa Library On August 7, 2013 at 7:00 PM at North Tampa Library best selling author Tim Dorsey will discuss his latest offering The Riptide Ultra-Glide, which features lovable serial killer/tour guide Serge A. Storms helping a nice Midwestern couple after misfortune darkens their visit to the Sunshine State. All of Dorsey’s novels feature Serge Storms as the primary character,with his co-pilot Coleman - together they frequently devise some wildly inventive ways of condemning villains to death. The author will be on hand to talk about his plot lines, character development, and why most of his crime capers are set in Florida. It may have something to do with the fact that he lives in Tampa with his wife and two daughters, is a former reporter for The Tampa Tribune, and is a big Tampa Bay Rays fan (also a Boston Red Sox fan - but we won’t hold that against him). This should be an interesting and entertaining evening - you’ll have a chance to mingle with the author over refreshments and fellowship. I’ll bet he’ll even autograph one of his books if you bring it with you!. North Tampa Library is located at 8916 North Boulevard, just South of Busch Blvd. This event is presented in partnership with the Tampa Writers Alliance and the Friends of the North Tampa Branch Library.
