Best advice I can give to other artists is, know why you hate an artists work. Dont just hate it and write it off. Understand what it is about it that you dislike. Sometimes researching and understanding where the artists is coming from completely changes and opens you up to a new vision and understanding of the work! For me it isnt always about the finished piece it is about the message and the journey which the artist took to get there as well. If you still feel the same after the investigation then at least you can explain why. Sounds so much better than oh i hate him, or I cant stand him And funny thing is most of the time I hear oh I dont understand that guy or i dont get abstract art. That just sounds silly now doesnt it?
