Best efforts to rap Mama Brook failed miserable. We set up a trap in front of the kittens crate, with food, and Dean even installed a camera, so we could check her and them. Nothing, so this morning I removed the trap and put food in the crate so she would come and feed them. Dean has the camera fixed so I can see it on my computer and on a small one in the bedroom. So, I am watching and voila, Mom appears, wanders around for several minutes, in and out of frame, and then enters the crate. Instead of feeding them, she picked one up to move it. I watched her disappear. Minutes later, she came back and picked up another. I believe there is still one left (she had 7), but cant quite tell. I have no idea where they have gone, do have a general direction, and she is so hinky that I really dont dare intrude for awhile. She was supposed to leave tomorrow, why do I have a sinking feeling this could go on for days or....
