Best hospitals in the country! I have always read the cover stories of several magazines that list the best hospitals in the country with great interest. And I have always wondered how they assess that without actually visiting the most prominent hospitals. For example, no one has visited my hospital for a survey even though we are the only hospital that offers totally blade less surgery in our state. I got my answer last month. I was offered a spot at an awards function if I opted for a package worth Rs.10,00,000 of advertising. No. This year Mulamoottil Eye Hospital will not be on any list of best hospitals. Nor the next year.
