Best tip ever from my mother Marion Angel! she has been telling me for months but I have only just got around to doing it. If you wash fresh herbs take the leaves off them and put them into mini ziploc bags, label and date them, then freeze them, remove straight from the freezer and rub the bag around with your hands, the frozen herbs shatter and voila finely chopped no fuss fresh serving size fresh herbs that retain full flavour for up to one year...how awesome is that? Tried it today because my mint ran feral in the garden. So tonight I made a fresh greek yoghurt, skim milk and fresh mint leaves blended nutribullet spearmint flavoured milk smoothie, man why didnt I listen to her before...lol It was amazing :) go me!....Kez xo
