Best to keep an eye on the conservatives claims that Ukrainian-Canadians, of whom there are over a million of them and are presumably ripe to vote for Harper in next federal election because Harpers pro military action stance, shared with hawks in his favourite republic, the USA are compatible. Continuing to make Canada a dangerous, Mouse that Roared Harper and his stale conservatives continue to speak of sending Canadian fighter bombers to be based in Poland to stand by in case they are somehow needed to defend, democratic Ukraine. Democratic what? With no elected leaders in the Ukraine, that designation does not wash.
