Best wishes for 2015. Friends, I cherish all the best for you in 2015. However I do not treat 1st January as the Indian new year. It is new year for the government. It is the new year for the west .Along with this western new year the Constitution of India admits the Saka calendar as the Indian new year. I hope, 2015 will be a turn around for India for India with the economic reforms taking place. Economic strength and liberal democracy push a country upward. The least government brings in much better governance. Government must not intervene with the qualitative development of the individual. Provision of the level playing field to all inspires genuine competition a much ultimately leads to prosperity. But, I think, 2015 would be a foggy, glomy rear for Odisha. The fourth time BJD government & its leader Sri Naveen Pattanayak have already been tainted. This taint will stick more & more as the time pass.BJD will remain in defense only. It would be very difficult for the Congress to revive since its leader Sri Rahul Gandhi has lost credibility, with a reluctant and incapable leader how can Congress inspire the candidate of the people even though they have appointed a comparatively better person as state president in Odisha. After the Tax Force Report of Revenue Commissioner Tara Dutta has been published, it reveals the top leaders of BJP have illegally grabbed government land & plots. The discretionary quata, which was utilised bitterly by the BJP, knows themselves have been distributed by the BJP minister. Since these lands & plots have not been distributed to the land less, war widows & BPL category people and discretionary land & plots have been allotted to the rich & powerful like the Judges,IAS,IPS officers,politicians,builders etc, self some motive is the key here. How can the BJP say that BJD is corrupt? Is there any difference between BJP&BJD.2015 will bring out this debate. S, Odisha political horizon will remain gloomy.
