Best wishes for a safe, joyful and prosperous New Year to all the Dili Expat group members and your families and loved ones. In 2014 the group grew from less than 1.000 members to more than 2.500 members. Nearly thousand were “rejected” and currently we have more than 100 waiting for screening (I am on vacation – but will return to Dili in a few days). It is not our aim to become a very large group, but rather a good, useful and efficient group. The most common reason for rejecting applicants are: - Locked profiles (not allowing administrators to view much about the applicant); - Obvious “sale oriented”/commercial profiles; - Profiles without any obvious interest in expatriate life and activities; Personally I have witnessed many people making very good use of the group in 2014.
