Beth Becomes Queen of Terminus Beth and Darryl were together for a while on one of the survival tracks, and it is Beth who brought Darryl back into the world of the living from his slump after losing the prison. As Darryl and Beth were seeking to escape a house they were hiding in they were briefly separated, and someone absconded with Beth, kidnapping her away. Those kidnappers were a scouting party from Terminus. They zeroed in on Beth because of her extremely blonde hair, a trait that the voices in their heads (that they light the candles to) told them is a sign of eternal life and absolution for cannibals. Beth is locked into a kind of throne with a golden crown on her head, and they feed her pieces of flesh from the tender parts of the humans the cook up on their barbeque and call her “your highness” because she’s now queen of the cannibals.
