Without conception, There shall be no birth of the child of God a. As surely as conception will result in a birth of a child, so also repentance will surely result in the birth of a child of God. b. That is why the angels rejoice in heaven over one sinner that repents (is conceived). c. When they are finally born again, their names are written in the Book of life. d. Your name will be written in the Book of life when you are born again and not when you repent or believe. e. You will never be allowed to register your conception as birth anywhere in the world. Why? Because conception is conception and birth is birth. The church in the early days never made such horrific mistakes as we make today. Today, anything goes unnoticed and unchecked. The reason being that there are many denominations. This is also a master plan of Satan from the beginning to keep believers in their divisional stance. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. i. Is the duration between conception and the birth of a child. ii. In human term, it is 9 months or thereabout. iii. Spiritually, however, it is between now and the end of that day when you repent / believe in the Lord Jesus. 2 Corinthians 6:2 Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now is the day of salvation. iv. It is only in these days that believers are told they have to bear fruit of repentance before they are baptised. v. Such fallacy does not appear in the Bible. To bear fruit of repentance will take some considerable length of time, which you haven‟t got in order to get someone saved. When God said, “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in day of salvation I have helped you.” Then apostle Paul who had the revelation from God concerning when and how you are to be saved said, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2. Now and not tomorrow is the day of salvation. In case of the Philippian jailer when he believed, he and his household were baptised in the same hour of the night, which was the midnight hour. Paul and Silas did not even wait till the morning before baptising the jailer. Acts 16:23-34. i. In human term this is when the baby inside its mother’s womb comes out. When the water breaks the child is born. ii. In spiritual term, to be born again, you have to go back into the water and be covered totally in it in the Name of Jesus. iii. This is the baptism in water that now saves you also. 1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: iv. This is when you are born of the Spirit and baptised into the body of Christ, that is, you are added to the body of Christ. v. If you have not been baptised in water into the Name of Jesus, you are not a member of the body of Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. i. First of all, God brought the whole earth out of water by His word. ii. Secondly, water is involved in both the physical and spiritual birth and Jesus commanded that it must be done that way. As it is written, Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. We all came out of water from our mothers and that was where sin got into our souls right from the physical conception. For sin to be removed according to the principle of God, you have to go back inside the water again for the Lord Jesus to remove sin from your soul so that you may be born again by the Holy Spirit. iii. You came into the world with sin. God does not expect you to leave this world with your sins. iv. All you have got is your lifetime to claim forgiveness of sins by being born again today. You cannot afford not to be born again today. v. Jesus said, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his own soul?” Matthew 16:26. A lost soul/spirit is a soul that does not return to God when they die. The reason being; that person did not claim forgiveness of sins (not baptised, not born again) while alive in the body. Baptism is the transfer from the position of danger to the place of safety, that is, from darkness to light, from the kingdom of Satan to the Kingdom of God. It is the transfer from the power of Satan to the presence of God. The transfer involves birth, a new birth. The first transfer you and I had was the transfer from our mothers‟ womb into the kingdom of this world, which is the same as the kingdom of darkness. Our second birth or being born again takes us from this kingdom of darkness to God‟s Kingdom, the kingdom of light. As soon as you repent / believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you qualify for baptism immediately. You MUST make haste to be baptised because it is both serious and urgent. i. It was God in human flesh, Jesus Christ that died for your sins and was raised from the dead for your justification, not an angel. ii. It is also a command to do it and to do it immediately! Bethel Tabernacle Ministries – Senior Pastor JL Mkhatshwa Teaching a) You are born in sin, you can be born again without sin. Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. b) You are born separated from God, you can be born again reconciled to God. Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled c) You are born an enemy of God, you are born again a child of God forever. Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. John 1:12,13 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. d) You are born with Adamic nature, you are born again with the nature of God/Christ. Ephesians 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. e) You are born with an earthly father, you are born again with a heavenly Father. f) Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? When you are born again: a. You are in Christ Jesus. b. You have got everlasting life. c. You have become a new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing / reckoning / counting their trespasses to them and has committed to us the word of reconciliation”. Youa. must receive the Holy Ghost. i. On the laying on of hands of men of God, the Lord Jesus will baptise you with the Holy Spirit. ii. This when you receive power to witness to the Lord Jesus in word and in deed. You will also be able to speak in new tongues. iii. The Lord Jesus said, “And these signs will follow those who believe; In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17. b. You have eternal life. a) All those who are born again have everlasting life. b) This means you have the life of the Son of God in you. c) Now you have power to change any known situation and even to command sickness, pain, disease etc. out of your body. d) As you have everlasting life, you are like the Son of God and your body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?. e) You are like Christ Jesus on this earth and are expected to live like him. 1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. As soon as you are born again, you must know the three things that the Lord Jesus would desire for you to know. They are; i. Willingness to do the will of the Lord Jesus. ii. Obedience to the Lord Jesus. iii. Humility before God and men. The singular most important thing in heaven and on earth for you in your life as a believer in the Lord Jesus is to do the will of God. You will find the will of God in the word of God as you read your Bible daily. For the will of God is the word of God and the word of God is the will of God. You will have to be disciplined and consistent in this aspect of your walk with the Lord Jesus.
