Betsy Rose is recovering from her choke last night. Shes still getting soup for meals but hopefully tomorrow she will be able to get a mash vs soup. Shes not allowed to graze but we all took turns taking her for walks. As we welcomed in the New Year, little Betsy Rose welcomed in a new friend. A distant relative of Freckles arrived - a cute little donkey named Mani! Freckles and Mani hung out in Betsys food dish quite a bit to try to keep her mind off of not being able to eat much yet. Betsy Rose enjoyed listening to them catch up on family stories. Freckles had quite a few to tell Mani about life with Betsy Rose too. We finished up 2014 with a successful $500 match game - thank you all! I really wanted to post a detailed update today but, once again, the day has come to an end and theres still much to do. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a no surprises day and the update with more detailed information, and additional photos, will come. We have two farriers coming tomorrow so were calling it a day here soon. Well be sitting up the sling in the morning for Peggy Sue to get her hooficure.
