Better quality here: 500px/photo/73011429/castlepoint-dreaming-by-mark-gee Ive been shooting some new material lately, and this is one of those images which I photographed on a recent trip out to Castlepoint in the Wairarapa, New Zealand. This was certainly a memorable night - the stars and Milky Way were shining ever so brightly above the coastal settlement of Castlepoint, as the sweeping light of the lighthouse lit up the surrounding landscape. In the end I walked up to the lighthouse to find two other photographers shooting stills and time-lapse there. I just watched for a while and then headed up to the observation deck to sit under the stars and Milky Way. It was an amazing sight, somewhat like a dream, which I will remember for a long time to come.
