Betty Gee 1925-2014 Betty Jean Gee, 89, died Friday August 22, 2014. Betty was born April 8, 1925 in Beggs, OK. to Eugene Byron & Katherine Josephine (Wheeler) McNeal Betty worked for PSO for 30 years. She married Kenneth Gee on September 30, 1996, in Cookson, OK. Known as “World’s Best Granny”, she played piano and sang. Betty shared her voice with many over the years, playing for Nursing Homes, and Churches with a mixed gospel quartet “Harmony Singers”. Betty is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home. Son: Rodney Garver, Tulsa. Other children include: Steve & Darlene Gee, Dee Ann & Ronnie Hazel , and very special friends: Tammy & Charley Lord Also a brother, Jack and wife Jolene McNeal, Owasso, 3 nieces Sherry Hill, Donna Ohler, both of Broken Arrow, Debby Sallis of Tulsa, and nephew Michael McNeal of Broken Arrow as well as numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren and other extended family members. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, half- brother James Wheeler and wife Gladys, daughter Janice Garver, granddaughter Katherine Harrel, and grandson Eric Pauley. Service was held, Monday, August 25, 2014 at Moore’s Southlawn Chapel. Interment followed at Memorial Park Cemetery. Moore’s Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at moorefuneral
