Between 1959 and 1963 I went to St.Giles Secondry Modern Boys School. The teachers were as follows.....Mr.Clarricoates,geography, who on his retirement was replaced by Mr "Nogger" North, Miss Macintosh ,music, Mr. "Doc " Foster, maths, Mr. "Tich" Taylor, english, next to the english classroom was the library, then down the steps was Mr."Danny " Allen, P.E, and also Mr. Robson, Mr. Panton was the art teacher, opposite these clasrooms were the Secretarys office Miss "Winker " Whiteman,and the Headmasters office Mr "Buzz" Humbleby. Right at the end of the corridor was Mr. Sculley, scripture, Up the stairs on the left hand side was Mr. Sherrif, chemistry, then on the right was Mr Fred Green, history and sport.Across the playground was the woodworking class , Mr. Woods and Mr. Smith.........Does any body else remember these days?......
