Between 1967 & 1970 there was a Civil war in Nigeria. Its intended and unintended effects are still with us today. Some of them are: A baby drought, followed by a baby boom in the south which has resulted in a missed generation 1967-1970 & subsequent baby boom 1977-1987. We see the effects in all aspects of our life today. Unrestrained baby production in the north & a laid back attitude, resulting from the confidence of winning and being in charge, whereas in the south there was an unrestrained determination to succeed. More like new beginnings in the south east.... There will surely be other effects, in our collective psyches and attitudes....so dont always judge people from how they are, it may just be because of where they are coming from....
