Between 2000 and 2013, legal immigration from Islamic countries to the United States has been 2,338,013. Thats two million, three hundred and thirty eight thousand and thirteen people. In other words, an average of just under 15,000 people per month. This continues unabated today. This is in addition to unknown numbers entering illegally across our porous borders or illegally overstaying visas. The detailed numbers, available from the US government, are listed here below. Obviously, we know that the overwhelming majority of these people are like most other immigrants, seeking a better life with no intention of doing harm to anyone in their new country. In many cases they are starting businesses, doing good work and contributing to American prosperity. That said, at some point, and now is good as any, we must ask: Why does America need this immigration? What is the benefit to America? Moreover, what are the risks? Which government agency is vetting who arrives, who gets to stay and who qualifies for US citizenship? In France today and indeed all across Europe, we see the result of open immigration from Islamic countries. The harsh reality is that these immigrant societies do not assimilate to their host society. They may integrate economically, but they remain apart culturally. What we also observe, in towns and cities all across Europe and UK, are no go zones, where having achieved a critical demographic mass, these sub-societies reject the law of their host countries, replacing it with sharia law. There are mini-sharia states in England, France, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Germany. Within these mini-states, Radical immams freely and openly sermonize on the requirements of young Muslims to commit themselves to Jihad. As we see in Paris today, this is often times not a Jihad of the only spiritual variety. We must ask ourselves serious questions. Do we really want to aid and abet the creation of similar sub-societies and no go zones in the USA? Do we really want to import such huge numbers of immigrants from Islamic societies when we have seen, with our own eyes, the utter failure of assimilation and multiculturalism in Europe? Do we really want to overwhelm our own law enforcement so that, like in France, its just not possible to track all the thousands of potential terrorists and jihadists imbedded within these huge immigrant sub-societies? How many Tsarnaev brothers are already here and how many more do we want to import? These are legitimate questions we owe ourselves and our posterity to ask of our elected leaders and policy makers now, before we too are engulfed in the implacable terror that now grips France. This is not Islamophobia. I have very very close friends of Islamic faith and descent, both here and in Europe. Theres nothing I would not do for them if they were in need. Moderate, assimilated Muslims know these kinds of questions are fair minded and entirely reasonable. After all, the Egyptian people also face Islamic terrorism in their own country. But in those cases the radicalized populations are living within their own historic lands. Transferring murder, mayhem and radicalism from dysfunctional Islamic countries to Europe and America, and in so doing voluntarily putting our own citizens at great risk is not a requirement of being a compassionate, open-minded, enlightened and tolerant human being.
