Between 9,000 and 11,000 homes in Lincoln County -- half of FPUs 18,000 customers -- are without power due to substations and lines being downed by at least two different tornadoes. A lot of folks have got serious damage, and we want everyone to be safe, said Britt Dye of FPU. Please stay out of the areas impacted ... We have a lot of downed lines, which may still be live, and while were working our way through them, its going to take a while. We may not know the extent of the damage until morning. We need folks to work with us and keep themselves out of damaged areas. Britt said he does expect that the Parks City substation will be energized soon, which will assist in restoring power to some areas of Fayetteville and Lincoln County.
