Between so many failures and struggles on one hand and so many successes and accomplishments on the other, 2014 has been the most productive year in my life. I started the year with lots of worry about so many things, between family living in Iraq not knowing whether I will see them alive or not as well as so many other uncertainties. But I am a very lucky person, I have had people believing in me and supporting me since the beginning of this year, between my lovely and amazing foster family in Washington DC, my amazing friends who opened their doors for me when I am in a new city, those who helped me when I was broke and those who helped me when I was sick. Also my great family that eventually I had a family reunion with after 8 years! Despite of being hated by many because of my views and personality, I am also loved by so many as well and I make sure that I recognize these people and not let negativity take over the positive aspect of my life. I have been betrayed and back stabbed by many this year but I also have had hugs and love from so many other people. By end the of this year, I have an amazing list of wonderful friends some of whom are very close and who I love so much, I have a meaningful job and I am able to pay my bills by myself by working hard everyday. I am in my 20s and I wish to make as much as use of the energy I have right now to invest more and more in myself to make the world more free and have better respect for human rights and secular values.
