Between the streetcar, Cincy Red Bike and the Central Parkway bikeway (Ohios first protected bikeway) were about to see downtown transportation transform for the first time since the 1930s. Im probably extra sensitive since I work downtown, but something undeniably special happens when people get out of their cars. Its what gives so many college towns their buzz. Its what makes New York City such a wonderful human-scaled place. But enough of my speechifying: Its time to get into my Honda Accord and spend the next 35 minutes driving to work. Sigh.
