Beverley Ann Vitelli (LaCelle)....you ascended to heaven today. But you leave behind a legacy...and the memories you formed ever so subtlety to everyone you touched. If there ever was a person that exemplifies the term sweetheart, it was my mom. While she was saddled with the LaCelle curse of gossip, she was never cruel or harsh. The first to lend a hand or a kind word. She possessed a quiet strength that only those closest to her recognized. She never turned down a request for help. She laughed easy and when she was that target of joking, she, my mom, laughed the hardest. Tonight while she leaves her sons and grandchildren, sisters and brothers, cousins and in-laws, she is reunited with her parents and other family...but none more important than her true love, her heart, my dad Leonard. He left us 26years ago, and while its been said at least she didnt suffer long in the hospital, she suffered since his passing, because a part of her died that day in 1988. There love was truly legendary, a love that would make some jealous, a love that everyone strives for. I want to thank everyone that supported me and the hardest decision Ive ever had to make. While social media has caused everything from laughter to tears, happiness and anger. Through a trying time like this, it helped me find the courage to say goodbye...all the love and prayers, messages and calls...I truly am humbled by you all. Our family will miss you Edith Bunker, Granny the sequel...or grandma...or Ma! To me, simply mom. I have been told I was the rock of our family, but I wasnt, that distinction belonged to mom.
