Beyond Beautiful. And... Some thoughts and reflections about this being a commercial... If the message gets out to the most people possible and its such a beautiful and truly important message, then does perhaps the end justifies the means? Advertising has so much power. And yet, it must hook us to be successful- the memes have to stick. So as we evolve, ad messages will be required to evolve also, or people will lose interest in the commercials. Hmmm... And of course every brilliant ad exec who launches a highly evolved message well will push the envelop a little. Could this kind of thing become a form of reverse-appropriation, dismantling outmoded original programs? If the memes become deeply embedded, might advertising even eventually make itself and/or consumerism obsolete? Hmmm... What do you think? ~
