Beyond The Professoriate: A Virtual Conference for PhDs in Career Transition will be held via gotowebinar on May 3rd and 10th. Career Day (May 3rd) features 16 PhDs from a variety of disciplines who have successfully transitioned to nonfaculty careers. Professional Development Day (May 10th) has 6 panels that will help PhDs and graduate students learn skills to navigate the post-academic job market (writing resumes and creating linkedin profiles, using social media, networking, etc). The cost to attend is $20. Registration deadline is April 30th. Students/alumni can also register at lilligroup/registration/ Please note this notice is FYI only - this is a non-UBC event.
