Beyond saying Congratulations to the election winners I think all the citizens of Hickman County should say Thank You to every person who ran for public office of any kind. Win, lose, or draw, those folks who threw their hat into the ring for various positions should be commended for having the desire to want to improve our community. I appreciate any person who had the courage and the wherewithal to put their name on the ballot. It takes a massive amount of hard work to campaign in a county that covers as much area as Hickman County does. We are very fortunate to have all of the candidates that we were privileged to vote for. Give em all credit.....they put their money where their mouth was and went out and tried to make a difference. As far as Im concerned, in that regard, they are all winners to me :) Once again, Im very proud to be a Hickman Countian :)
