Bhaderwah town observed complete Bandh for two hours Municipal Committee Bhaderwah Employees strike entered 11 day , holds protest outside residence of MLC Whole Bhaderwah town today observed dawn to dusk bandh / strike as all business establishments remained closed and traffic on various routes also remained Jamed for two hours from 9 am to 11 am in support of the long pending demands of the employees of the Municipal Committee Bhaderwah included non payment of four months salary to them and regularization of all Casual laborers / daily wagers working in the MCB . The Bhaderwah bandh call of today was given by Beopar Mandal of both communities agaisnt the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies , Jammu and district administration Doda for failure to release the salary of four months of the MCB employees due to which whole Bhaderwah town has converted in a heap of rubbish and it is expected that due to which an epidemic may occurred in the whole town and people may fall ill . MCB Employees also took out a rally which passing through various markets culminated old bus stand outside the Executive Officers office where employees locked the main gate of the office and also burnt the tires and shouted anti government and pro demands slogans and criticised the state government policies towards them . Speaking on the occasion MCB employees Union leaders Mohd Hussain , Nasir Ahmed , Sunil Kumar , Moul Raj , Rajesh Kumar , Abdul Hafeez Dar , Balwant Dogra , Mohd Tariq Batt ,Bashrat Ahmed , Shoket Ahmed Ganai , Wasin Ahmed and Shabir Ahmed Sheikh warned government and concerned minister to resolve their issue of salary as soon as possible and if not then they will launch a Padh yatra towards Civil Sectrait ,Srinagar and take law and order in their hands . They said due to non payment of salary to them they are unable to pay the monthly salary of their wards to schools of the Bhaderwah twon due to which various school administrations have discharge their kids .Later they also stage a protest and demonstration outside the residence of MLC Naresh Kumar Gupta who last month pleaded employees case before Urban Local Bodies Minister . Meanwhile DDC Doda Mubarak Singh along with ADC Doda G N Balwan today reached Bhaderwah and took stock of the ongoing situation arising out of the continuous strike by the MCB employees and talking to media persons he informed that many times he took up the issue with concerned department and Director for the release of salary of employees and expressed confidence soon all issues related to them will be mitigated .But DDC also informed that issue related to salary of MCB employees is not responsibility of district administration but of concerned department and Directorate .and informed Urban Local Bodies is facing shortage of funds
