I opined on the remand paper that bhang falls within the definition of narcotics in reference to Pld 2009 lhr 362 and the offence was amended accordingly. Now in bail petition the learned ASJ gave the remarks that prosecution has no power to amend the offence at remand stage contending that it amounts to interference in investigation and accepted the bail.
