Bhuaji Mohinder Kaur ji yesterday evening departed for sachkhand at age of 93 years. A gem of gursikh who personified sacrifice & gurmukh jeewan. Such souls are very rare and I feel privileged to have enjoyed Bhuajis sangat for a considerably long period when we resided in Ludhiana. After we left Ludhiana she would send messages to come a meet her or it used to be joyous moments whenever we could meet her during smagams. Bhuaji did sangat of Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh ji very closely and for considerable period of time. She was blessed with kirtan di daat and Bhai Sahib ji was very fond of her kirtan. This picture was taken recently when we went to do darshan of bhuaji in Ludhiana on 12th March. Gurmukh soul was listening sehaj paath on media player. She had been bed ridden for almost a year now but was mentally very alert. It didnt take her time to recoginze me and very fondly said ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਹੈਂ ਨਾ?. She hugged us all very lovingly and chatted on varied matters. I recorded bhuajis reminiscences about Bhai Sahib ji, Bhai Basant Singh ji, Old Jatha days and other matters. Ill try to clean up the recording and share it for benefit of all in few days. A gurmukh jiwan well lived!!
