Bhutanese double bookkeeping system Some Bhutanese private companies have adopted a double bookkeeping system. In addition to credit and debit side of the accounting, they maintain two accounts: the first one is for the government (tax people), and the second one to record the actual business transaction. This is how they evade taxes. The National Councils call to enact Accounting and Auditing Standard Act is timely. We need to criminalise tax evaders, not smokers or arra drinkers.
