Bible Reading 2014 March 7=Deuteronomy 19-22 Reasons for Not Going to Battle. House not dedicated—v.5 Vineyard not ready—v.6 Unconsummated Marriage—v.7 Fearful or Fainthearted—v.8 Think about this. If our home is not dedicated to the Lord how can we be successful for Him in spiritual warfare? If our lives are producing no fruit then we are not fit for the battle. If our marriage is not being fruitful then we will not be all we need to in the battle. If we are fearful and fainthearted then we not only are not good for ourselves but may cause danger or harm for the others in the battle. What can we do? If our dedication is lacking seek God in prayer and proceed to dedicate ourselves to Him. If we are not bearing fruit then we need to seek God and start producing. If our marriage is not where it needs to be, we need to seek God and start fixing. If we are fearful and fainthearted then we need to seek God for strength and courage. All in all, the reasons for not going to battle need to be made right so that we can enlist for spiritual warfare duty. BEING FIT FOR THE BATTLE MAKES US FIT FOR THE BLESSING!
