Bible Reading and Prayer Guide Poetry/Wisdom (2 minutes) Psalm 24 Worship (5 minutes) Christ is Risen - https://youtube/watch?v=IExdrZGQVeI Confess (3 minutes) Spend time confessing specific known sins and ask God to reveal sins you might not be aware of. Pray for Church and Lives (3 minutes) Don’t just hear God’s word, hear it through understanding. This is heart soil needed to grow the “second” life. Pray this week that FHBC would be defined as a church of Bible appliers. Pray that our growing amount of God’s seeds, His word, would grow into spiritual fruit that would ultimately transform our lives and the world around us. Pray this week for Our Children and Students. The Santa Rosa School District is entering into the last two weeks of the school year. Pray for FHBCs students since they will be going to camp as soon as school is out. Pray they will live out their faith in school and at home. Pray for finals as student study and take tests. Scripture Memory (3 minutes) Psalm 1:1-3, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Daily Reading and Prayer Focus (15 minutes) Saturday Bible Reading: Psalm 63 Today’s Question: Read a passage of Scripture of your choice. What does it say/mean? What must you to apply it to your life? FHBC: Military – Tomorrow we honor our military (active and retired). Pray for them as they serve our country. Pray that FHBC would be a spiritual refuge for them as well as a place to grow God’s word in them wherever they may be stationed in the future. (Be sure to attend the Military Appreciation Luncheontomorrow). Country: French Polynesia – The LMS-planted Ma’ohi Church has declined. Once the Church of the majority of Islanders, liberal theology is now predominant and evangelicals are few. Splits and defections have reduced its percentage and influence, and some well-publicized cases involving misuse of funds damaged the Church’s reputation further. Pray for a moving of the Spirit of God to bring this Church back to its first love, as in the early 19th Century.
