Pray for Church and Lives (3 minutes) During August we are discovering what our relationships within the church family need to look like. This Sunday we examined how our relationships within the church need to fuel us to take Jesus to those outside the walls of our church. Pray this week for ways that FHBC could take Jesus to our community. Pray for opportunities to share Jesus with the those around us. Pray this week for the Students, Parents and Teachers. This week begins the new school year for Santa Rosa County. Students, Parents and Teachers will be involved on the greatest mission field in North America – the public schools. Pray that the Students will be bold in sharing their faith. Pray students will speak bold as God gives them opportunities to share with their classmates. Local Church: James Street Baptist Church - Pray for JSBC as they search for a pastor as Pastor Gilmore will be retiring October 1st. Country: Mongolia - Many are interested in Christianity, but their reasons are mixed. In the past, a significant attraction was the chance of employment by missionaries/NGOs. Today, some who come into the church drift away or never become disciples. Pray for effective discipleship and Christ-like living among believers. Pray for their healing (Cassie) o Pray for healing of Amber Summers, 37 year old recently diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer (Nall Family) o Pray for Alexis Penton, pregnant, recovering from car accident last week.
