Bible commentary(please read carefully to understand this message from God) Isaac married Rebekah when he was forty years old. Rebekah was barren and Isaac prayed to the Lord on her behalf, and she became pregnant. The babies jostled each other within her, and she went to inquire of the Lord about them. The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger (Genesis 25:20-23). Genesis 27 revealed how Rebekah advised Jacob to deceive Isaac and receive all the father’s blessings. Esau was angry when he found out that Jacob took his blessings and even sought to kill him. Rebekah then advised Jacob to flee to his brother Laban in Harran. At the fullness of time, God spoke to Jacob to go back to his country and relatives (Genesis 32:9). He was afraid to go back because of what happened in the past. However, he obeyed God despite his fears. He sent messengers to his brother Esau, appealing that he find favor in his eyes (Genesis 32:3-5). Then he prayed to God to save him from his brother’s anger (Genesis 32:9-12). When Jacob was left alone, God visited and he wrestled with him till daybreak. He did not let go of God, until he was blessed and his name changed to Israel. He diligently and persistently sought God, and he was blessed at the end. Have you given up on God? Seek him and you will find him; if you have faith and faint not. After this great encounter with God, Jacob finally met with Esau and he found favor before him (Genesis 33:4-5). I declare that you will continually find favor wherever you go in Jesus name amen. Be encouraged! God is with you no matter how tough your situation your situation may be. He will grant you favor before anyone that you are afraid of. He will give you victory over anyone that threatens you in Jesus name amen. Please seek God diligently like Jacob did until he blesses you. This story of Jacob reminded me of my situation in 2003, when I was praying to God to give me a child. I prayed to God and my pastor and brethren also prayed fervently. Then I had an encounter with God just before I became pregnant. I heard God’s voice clearly when I was alone in the house, “because of you the gates of heaven have been banged night and day requesting for a child”, I replied the voice “ give me a child and they will stop banging your gates”. To God be the glory, I became pregnant weeks later. I tell you the truth, God is real and there is no argument about it. Please repent if you are still doubting God’s existence and miracles. Seek God diligently and you will find him (Hebrews 11:6). “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you (Matthew 7:7). Wait patiently on God almighty and he will surely answer your prayers in Jesus name amen. I decree that your miracles will be on time in Jesus name amen. You will testify of God’s favor, goodness, love and mercy forever in Jesus name amen.
