Bible contradictions "Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself." [Pr 26:4] "Answer of fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes." [Pr 26:5] Yes Here one of this awful Biblical contradictions . But really is it a contradictions at all ? The two verse are right there together . If you ever spoken with someone who just keeps saying something to the point you think what a fool .Well these two fit in dealing with a person who is a fool .Sometime in having a conversation with a person like this 26:4 is the wise thing to do because it becomes foolishness to verbalize with him or her.Other times 26:5 You can speak to someone using their folly and they think wow I am wise. But foolish is still their state of mind .So no contradictions ... There are no contradictions in the bible only fools and their folly unable to comprehend what it means .
