Big Cool down on the way after one last summer like day! Monday is the last day of astronomical summer as the fall equinox occurs tomorrow night. As if it were scripted, a fall-like cold front will cross the area tomorrow and bring truly fall like weather for much of the week. We may see a shower or storm with the fronts passage, but nothing widespread. Tuesday will be much cooler as highs struggle to reach the mid 70s. Tuesday night will see the coolest temps we have seen in some time as inland locations will bottom out in the mid 50s. For those that prefer it warm, the latter half of the month may be a little warmer. The last picture shows the expected temperatures across the US next week. As you can see, most areas will enjoy a warmup! Enjoy!! ~Phil~
