Big Fish Day with Livi: We planned to go fishing this afternoon all week and today we got about a 2 hour window to get it done. Everybody got all bug sprayed and we went to the hardware for some night crawlers. By the time we got everything together we had about 40mins of fishing time left when the first hook hit the water. It started slow and Livi said “Papaw we need a bigger worm on the hook”. Papaw Davis can take instructions from a woman, I had 5 sisters. Big worm went on and we caught a nice bream. We were all excited about the size of that thing, so we took some photos and but it back in the pond. I ask Livi “Do we need another big worm”? And she said “yes papaw we do” Then she caught a monster of a bream. Look at the photo of the fish against the rail that is a 2 x 6 board. It can almost get the float in its mouth. That is one nice bream. Back in the pond it went for some lucky person to catch later. This was Livi’s first fishing trip and her first fish, (the little show off). It was a short trip, she catches fish and it was a good experience for her. Papaw Davis is looking for a ½ pound cricket for the next trip, there’s got to be a record bream in that pond.
