Big Nickel Road: Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes during a major road improvement project on Big Nickel Road. Construction will reduce Big Nickel Road to one lane and rock blasting will halt traffic for up to 30 minutes, starting Monday, June 23. Blasting and road construction are scheduled Mondays to Fridays, between 8 a.m. and sunset, at least until July 31.
