Big SIGH here...Troy Denning gave me the heads up today that theres someone posting reviews at Amazon under the name R. A. Salvatore - and its most decidedly NOT me. I dont generally review books, and I would NEVER offer a negative review to another author. NEVER - I feel that doing so is insulting all the readers who enjoy that author. Its simply not my place to do that. So I dont know if this is someone named R.A. Salvatore...(seems strange, since he/she reviewed a Sundering book), someone whos using my name because he/she doesnt know any better, or someone, perhaps, looking to pump a self-published book with my stamp of imprimatur. But nope, not me. I did review a couple of political books, anonymously, because non-fiction is an entirely different animal. I dont presume to tell other people that what they choose to read is crap, or mediocre, or whatever. Bob. ps. Glad I dont live in western NY right now! Holy cow! pps. I knew this hit of brutal winter was coming when I read about Cyclone Nuri, a monster storm that basically crashed the jet stream as it blasted into the Bering Sea, drawing huge amount of warm Pacific air up into the Arctic and driving the Arctic cold down over us, just like last winter. ppps. The house remodeling is coming along...but for now, Ill continue to hide in my office, doing the edit on next summers The Archmage. pppps. Getting some nice feedback on DemonWars: Reformation now. People are having a blast iwth our game, and that makes me a happy guy and proud father! ppppps. Running out of time if you want MEDIA MAIL (best shipping option in the States) on Christmas presents from RASalvaStore...were shipping tons every day, dodging workmen and ladders...HA! pppppps. For people trying to figure out which Drizzt book (or any of my books) is next in order, look in the ABOUT section of this page for a complete list, or for the Realms novels Ive done, go back a couple of months for the post I put up for the logical reading order of my work. ppppppps. If youre looking to start someone on the Drizzt books as a present (hint, hint!), I recommend these, starting with either Book 1 or Book 2 of the 25th Anniversary Omnibus editions.
