Big Weekend at the Tour of Taranaki done and dusted. 14 GMC riders in total. 3 in the top ten in A grade, including (in my opinion) a career best 6th overall for Jack Sowry and a Stage win for Scott Ambrose. Mitchell Shrimpton 2nd overall in B grade tied on the same time as the winner but losing out on count back, Karl Postlewaight top ten even though he killed himself helping Mitch. Personally a stage win, 3rd in TT and a stage in yellow was far more than I thought I was capable of, I stopped after 1 lap yesterday, body had enough and the climbs were a bit much seated. Massive thanks to Mark Sowry and Jayne Jarrold, they cooked, did Laundry, carried wheels, took jackets at the start and were just generally awesome for the whole weekend.
