Big art weekend in the region! Sunday is NCLACs opening reception from 2-4pm for the photography exhibition, Movement, at Crescent City Coffee. Work featured is by Emily Jane Cruz and Laura Guidry. Check out these options for your Saturday night: Here in Ruston at The Dixie Center for the Arts, you can come hear Krewe of Swing at 7pm. Tickets are $10, or $5 for students and seniors. If youre a member of the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, its the opening reception for the Annual Juried Competition, with art from around the country, including many of our own regional artists. If youre not a member, the exhibition will be on view until June 14. Then headed the opposite direction on I-20, its Artini for Bossier Arts Council. Artini is a fun cocktail party with the purpose of raising funds for Bossier Arts Councils programming. The event is at Horseshow Casino & Hotel, and tickets are $65 at the door.
