Big brother (CCTV) is already testing out their equipment at Koki round-about in Port Moresby. Citizens should understand the privacy act (PNG) if: 1. A security company intends to monitor the public. 2. Police have direct access to that information hourly and/or daily. 3. This service going to benefit one group or all groups of society. 4. Video/still photo footage is not secured from hackers. If the system is controlled via internet/wi-fi what is the safeguard of that information. 5. An incident occurs, what is the response time for someone (Security or police) to assist. 6. A violent crime occurs, Murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, hit and run ... etc, will this stop the murder or serious offence or just logged in for evidence. 7. Can the public access for traffic updates is it is to be used for the public. What are your comments ?
