Big changes coming tonight -- setting up a 60 desktop above my 45 desk. Now Ill really be more productive, LOL Actually Im trying to figure out a design in my head for a homemade desk thats got the functionality that I saw in a magazine several years back. I want to place a piano-style master keyboard in front of my monitor, but still have desk space for typing an papers etc. the tricky thing is its really nice to have functional drawers for stashing supplies. The piano needs to slide away, but slide out when I compose songs. Im tired of using 25-45 key USB controllers -- they limit my creativity and force me into 4/4 dance loops. I also need a power distribution center for charging iPhone, iPad, Bluetooth keyboard, and other accessories. Something tells me that this should not be part of the desk, but I have limited space so thats a consideration. While were still awaiting springtime rain to see where the foundation of the house is leaking, I have no basement mancave. So my stuff is either in storage or in nonfunctional positions in the basement covered by sheets, away from the drywall we had sawed up to remove the black mold. Basically whats left of my synth and effects racks looks like ghosts. Also Im still trying to sell off a half dozen synthesizers. The market here in SB is far worse than in Chicago.
