Big day for Skin Cancer. Today melanomaWA is speaking at a Parliamentary Public Hearing on Skin Cancer in Australia. The The Standing Committee on Health is inquiring into why Australia suffers from the highest rates of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers in the world. They want to hear from the experts, like Clinton, for guidance about what should be done about it. It means we get to stand on the soapbox too, and provide input into national strategies. Its great that melanomaWA has a voice. It is official recognition for what we do. You guys have helped us immensely. Your input and feedback helps us define what we need to do further. We thank you for all your support. The invitation to participate in the proceedings today has been great. It has also given us motivation to go knock on some more big heavy official doors.
