Big decision has been made. I am closing down the main Avenue 57 website soon. Lots of reasons that I could go into but it lost its thriving community feel and posts were minimal and really only those that blogged anyway were posting. I set the site up to help women who had lost their way, were stuck in a rut, wanted inspiration and it did that for a while but then it slowly stopped doing that over the years. I can’t leave it alone though. I still want to help women and want other women to help others so I have set up a closed group on Facebook that will allow more women to join in. Were a funny bunch as women, lacking in confidence etc etc so this closed group will help with one aspect of that. It will also be a place to ask for where can I buy x and if you have an event to go to and you want ideas of what to wear. If you want outfit inspiration then we can all post what we wear every day or for a special occasion to show others/inspire. Its currently a small group but there is no reason why it cant grow. What Ive found is that Im a size 10 and quite tall. I am good to help those like me. But what if you have big boobs? Or if you have a long body and short legs? I need more and more women of all shapes and sizes to help each other out.
